Basic Tax Courses

Liberty Tax Service East Toronto (LTSET) provides AFFORDABLE income tax training to individuals wishing to learn how to prepare income tax returns.

The fee for the course is $225. plus GST. The cost includes all text books/manuals, in class work, all testing, and a certificate upon completion. A $50 deposit (refundable up to two weeks before the course starts) is required up on registration, with the balance due before the course manuals are released to you.

We accept cash, cheques, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Debit Cards.

Please note: All courses are held at in our training room at 852 Danforth Avenue location.

The Basic Income Tax Preparation course covers:

Basic Tax Forms, Filing Requirements, Income Sources, RRSP's, Investment Income, Personal Tax Credits, Federal and Provincial Tax Calculations, Family Tax Filing. Completing this course should allow you to prepare 95% of Canadian Tax Returns filed.

Correspondence Tax Courses

All Liberty Tax Schools courses can be taken by correspondence and started at any time. The cost is $125. plus postal shipping cost plus GST. You are paying for all the course materials and access to our staff to answer any questions you may have as you progress through the course. Register on line today.

Enrolling in and completing the course is no guarantee of employment with Liberty Tax Service. Liberty does use training as part of its recruitment process and does hire many Liberty Tax students who pass the final exam.
